June 8th, 2016. Day 33.
Recorded at Gros Ventre Campground, WY, part of the Bridger Tetons National Forest.
This morning we were in Draper, UT. Dave woke up at 2:30 a.m. and got some eye shades out of the car since our tent was under a street light.
Up at 6:30 and out by 7:45. Stephanie has a sore throat. We drove through 3 states repeatedly and found a cool town called Afton with an elk horn arch.
We also saw many historical markers for Cokeville and other towns.
On we went to Jackson, WY. Dave missed the street we were supposed to take and so we got to see some of the tourist section. It really is a pretty town but there are a lot of people so drive carefully.
Dave played at a retirement home, a beautiful place with great people. They said not to tell people about Wyoming so that it won’t get overrun.
We encounter an obnoxious dude in a gas station.
There was a short waiting line to get a campsite. We pitched camp, then went for a walk and saw a mule deer. We discuss people acting badly around wildlife.
Last night Dave lost at Scrabble by 50 points.
We discuss 4th Grade “Graduation”?
We saw 3 Scamp campers in the park!
