Scrabbling Across The West Episode 11

May 17th, 2016 Day 11

Sequoia National Park.

Dave lost by 30 points last night in California, and the neighbors were “interesting”. Out of camp by 9:10 for a trip to Target to restock, Dave babbles at the bank teller.

Hundreds of miles of orchards. Chicken nuggets but no cheese groves.

There are Chipmunk-like creatures, robber jays, no internet and setting up camp involves bear proofing, toilet trees and puns.

Bison in the trunk people. Reminiscences of the trip so far at the one-third mark. Tomorrow- Giant Sequoia and heading towards Las Vegas via Death Valley. Tonight… Scrabble!
